The other day, Tucson had a pretty wicked monsoon with some heavy rain and strong winds. A friend posted a video on FB that I can't link here, so this is the best I could find:
The storm only lasted a short time, but the winds were so strong, it flipped an F-16 stored at AMARG:

That's crazy... the storm was rather intense. Lots of downed trees and power lines. I didn't hear about the flipped F-16 at AMARG though. Wow.

I watched that news story earlier. I would wager those winds were more in the neighborhood of 60-70 mph. I'd like to know how high that storm topped out. Must have been a beast.
